Calibre ipad driver

calibre now has an experimental driver for the iPad. If you connect the iPad to your computer with calibre running, it should be detected and you can send books directly to iBooks on the iPad with calibre. The driver works by using iTunes in the background, so you also need to have iTunes installed and your iPad setup in it.  · First perform the following steps in calibre. I love Calibre for my Kindle but now that I have taken the "leap" for Ipad, I am wondering if I can convert my books to Epub via Calibre, will Calibre be able to transfer them to Ipad via computer hookup? I guess I have to go back to Calibre to read these books. It's a pain to have to bring my iPad to read things on the kindle app when I'm on my laptop.
